Fue el pasado 18 de marzo cuando se llevó a cabo el evento de lanzamiento de la nueva mesa directiva de la LMC Trinidad y Tobago, en las instalaciones de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad de las Indias Oeste (UWI), Campus San Agustín, en este país.
Luz María Karg, Directora Regional de ASQ para Latinoamérica, estuvo presente con la conferencia sobre el estudio “El futuro de la Calidad” y apoyó el inicio oficial de las actividades de esta LMC.
Además, en el evento, otras conferencias fueron ofrecidas, tales como: “Construyendo enlaces de calidad entre stakeholders: desde la perspectiva de la Facultad de ingeniería de la UWI” por Saheeda Mujaffar; “Presentando a la Comunidad local de socios (LMC) de Trinidad y Tobago de la American Society for Quality” por Kit Fai Pun y “Servicios y apoyo de la oficina del Country Counselor para Trinidad y Tobago”.
Cerca de 70 personas acudieron al evento de lanzamiento y participaron también en el momento de networking que ocurrió al final de las conferencias.

LMC TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO LAUNCH EVENT WAS ALL A SUCCESS
Last March 18th was the LMC Trinbidad and Tobago launch event in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Agustine in Trinidad and Tobago.
Luz María Karg, Regional Director for ASQ Latin America, was present with the conference “Future of Quality” and supported the official beginning of the activities of this LMC.
Additionaly, in the event, other conferences were given like: “Building Quality links among stakeholders: from the perspective of the Faculty of engineering at UWI” by Saheeda Mujaffar; “Introducing the American Society for Quality - Local Member Community, Trinidad and Tobago” by Kit Fai Pun and “The Services and Supports from the Office of the ASQ Country Counselor, Trinidad and Tobago” by Kester Gabriel, ASQ Country Counselor for Trinidad and Tobago.
About 70 people attended to the launch event and participated in the networking space at the end of the conferences.
