General Description:
Quality Assurance activities for new product launches and mass production activities.
Experience and Responsibilities:
Dealing with OEM customers face to face, over the phone, e-mail, phone conferences and presentations (e.g. GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, others)
Preparing PPAP packages for customers
Preparing Process Documents such as Control Plan, FMEA, Quality Alerts, Boundary Samples, Inspection Manuals and Procedures, Process Capability Studies (Cp&CpK), R&R Studies, among others.
Leading APQP activities with other departments such as Engineering, Production, Logistics, etc.
Leading Problem Solving meetings with other sections and 8D preparation involving quality defects investigation, process investigation, corrective actions implementation, reporting to customers and follow up.
Performing process quality audits based on ISO/TS16949 standards and internal quality systems.
Qualifications / Knowledge Required:
Effective computer skills in Microsoft Office Software to create tables, charts and document materials to provide reports.
Knowledge of ISO/TS16949
Qualification as a internal auditor is a PLUS
Capable of running and improving PDCA (eg: mechanism, product, process, etc.) ・ Experience in TS inspection related matters
Capable of training workers about Core Tools (APQP/PPAP/FMEA/SPC/MSA)
Education:
University graduate degree - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Language Skills:
Advanced and Effective communication skills in English. Capable of talking and visiting customers in the U.S.
Competencies to be expected / Personal characteristics needed:
Promote quality activities in the entire company.
Capable of making plans to accomplish objectives and goals.
Effective leadership skills and good team work skills.
